Setting a permanent output standard (e.g.1080i50) to a PVD 5806 / 5840 is quickly done following these steps:

1 - Route the video signal path for both (or one) SDI output(s) to the HiQ converter output.

2 - Click on the "HiQConv"-TAB and set the output format to 1080i50.

Note:
This will only work with even video input standards (frame rates), e.g. 625, 720p50, 1080i50, 720p25, ...!
1080i50 output signals cannot be provided with e.g. a 525, 1080p24, 720p59, ... input signals.

Additionally you may check the "Lock Image Converter Settings" box to prevent automatic change of settings.
